Throughout the war, the Kremlin used the Black Sea for different purposes, trying to put pressure on Ukraine on the Black Sea. In the first days of the war, the Russian Navy blockade the Ukrainian coast with a massive naval siege.
After Ukraine’s, coastal control was taken over by the Russian. Russian warships were positioned to fire at critical Ukrainian targets. But later, the Neptune Strike Missile of the Ukrainian Navy buried Moscow in the cool waters of the Black Sea. But there was another element of risk that the Russian Navy had overlooked since the first day of the war.
It is NATO’s mighty navy. Finally, in 2021, NATO warships landed in the Black Sea. The Sea Breeze, NATO naval exercise held in 2021 gave the Russian Navy a great intimidation. The US sixth fleet officially announced its participation in the annual Sea Breeze 2021. Held in partnership with the Ukrainian Navy on June 21st, 2021.
